Writing culture, made in Switzerland
Eleven years after its founding as part of the Hotz Group, Hieronymus is teaming up with House of Manus. In many ways, the firm makes a logical first member of the nascent House of Manus network. Here, contemporary design combines with a dedication to craftsmanship, echoing the history of the Hotz Group, which itself grew out of a printing business.
With its commitment to exceptional quality, first-class materials, labour-intensive printing and manufacturing processes and small production runs as well as to high personalization potential, Hieronymus embodies the qualities we value in artisan manufacturing. At the same time, it is resolutely of the here and now, serving the needs of consumers who celebrate the poetry of finely crafted things.

Round meets square — the Hieronymus Sculpture Pen is crafted from solid material.

At the Hieronymus flagship store in Zurich, the full product range is presented against the backdrop of Glenn Sestig’s interior design.
A space for your mind
As an artisan stationery brand with its own manufacturing, Hieronymus is about much more than merely putting pen to paper. It’s also about unlocking our mind space, that magical part of our minds that promotes productive thinking, allowing its contents to be manifested via carefully curated objects — sensuous paper products, writing instruments that lend weight to ideas, storage furniture that turns tidying into a ritual.
Hieronymus thus creates a world that is material and immaterial at the same time, a platform for creativity of all kinds. That’s why Hieronymus is not just about writing instruments in the narrowest sense, but about beautiful objects that celebrate the culture of writing, right down to fragrances that evoke a particular atmosphere and experience.
